Last Week of Freedom

It was a warm, rainy morning here...and this is the last free week before school starts. 

Which means, by now, we will do just about anything to keep these two occupied, rather than fighting.

Also, two teeth finally broke through.  This is excellent news for all of our sleeping needs.

Dylan Johanna - 9 Months

Dylan has now been out as long as she has been in.
Happy 9 month birthday baby!

Just a few updates on what is new in her life:
-She is still just a peanut..around 17lbs.
-One bottom tooth finally broke through last week. (Those were a few rough days!)
-She is crawling all over and pulling up to stand everywhere possible.
-She is much more predictable with sleeping: a couple naps during the day and sleeps from 9pm until 7am most nights.) If she wakes up, we just pop a paci back in her mouth and she goes back to sleep.
-Over the last couple weeks she has developed major stranger anxiety. She wants nothing to do with anyone other than Mommy, Daddy, Dawson or Jamie. Vacation with extended family last week was interesting due to the timing of this lovely stage.
-Other than freaking out if someone else tries to pick her up, she is a super happy and smiley baby almost all the time.

New Cousin Kendall




Meet Dawson, Jamie and Dylan's newest cousin (#18):
Kendall Marie.
She joins Rachel (David's sister) and Kyle's family, of now five.  Born August 7.

Cadillac 2012

Annual vacation in Cadillac, with Janet's family was full of sun, water, boating, fishing, games, reading, eating, tubing, skiing, swimming and much more.  As always, there are way to many photos to sort though, but here are a few that sum up the week...
