Sorry we haven't had time to post anything new or exciting lately. We have been very busy over here. Another Birthday Party

Janet's family had a birthday party for Dawson (on Feb. 11 - Janet's birthday) at the Kalamazoo YMCA. We swam, ate really unhealthy food, and opened lots of presents. It was a good time.

The best part about having 2 birthday parties is:

You get to have lots of treats!

...and on the way home...

At the end of the day we were all tired.

Happy 2nd Birthday Dawson!

We had a birthday party on Saturday for Dawson (he actually turns two on Jan. 30). These balloons seemed to be the biggest hit (more than the presents and food), and the most fun for everyone (adults and kids alike)!

He was happy up until all of the attention was on him and the loud singing began. Too much for a 2 year old to handle maybe?

It took a lot of convincing to get the candles blown out!

After we scared Dawson by singing "Happy Birthday", it took a while to convince him that everything was ok, get the tears to stop, and to blow out the candles.
