Real Sledding Hills

We did some sledding today, on real hills by our house. (As opposed to the sled ramp built out of plywood and snow in the yard.)

There's a lot we can do with a little bit of snow

We don't have as much snow as some parts of the state have...but it is enough that David has set up a lot of things to do outside, including an ice rink & a sled ramp/hill.

Lydia came to visit us while Joel and Emily went to a Lions game. She spent the night with us to give them a break, and the kids had a blast with her!

Dawson was a huge help! He fed her, entertained her, made sure she was comfy sleeping and just about anything else he could think of doing for a baby.

Some things don't change

While looking through some old photos for pictures of David, when he was little, I came across that first one of David, Joel & Rachel...which made me laugh because it was strangely familiar to one that was just taken a month ago. The weird thing is when we were outside and a camera was out - they all sort of automatically ran behind trees to pose, like it was the natural thing to do. Who does that? I guess they have been doing it for years.

Tooth Number 2, Uno & Snowflakes

Tooth #2 came out last night. (Second tooth in a week.) Jamie knocked it out for him and they are eager for more to come out.

Dawson has become pretty skilled at making snowflakes (I helped a little too, but most of them are his).
