Happy Birthday Dylan Johanna!

We welcomed Dylan Johanna
to our family on November 7, 2011 at 2:38pm
6lbs 3oz 19in

(Also, For those of you not sure of pronunciation...
Dylan = Dil-Ann
Johanna = Jo-Anna )

Night before..being admitted at Providence Park Hospital

Welcome to the world!

Dr. Crooks-Babu, our hero - for bringing Dylan into the world perfect and healthy!
Going home (on Tuesday 11.8.11...a day early, since everyone was in good health!)

Moving from Man-to-Man...to...Zone Defense

Dylan's first couple days home meant a lot of adjustment for us (and a lot less sleep of course)!

So far the kids are loving all over her, and like that they have a little sister, but they are also trying to adjust to not having very much attention, especially Jamie, who is finding sharing the spotlight a little rough.
The first night home, Dylan was crying in the middle of the night and we saw Jamie stomp out of bed, and shut her door all annoyed like (without saying a word) and then get back in bed.  Things could get interesting with these two!

Of course, Dawson is his usual sweet, caring self and is trying to help as much as possible.

Halloween 2011

Happy Halloween!

Red Wing (Datsyuk)..complete with a missing tooth and all.
(Poor kid had surgery last week, then had a tooth extracted at the dentist this afternoon. On Halloween!  I think I win a bad mom award for scheduling that one.)

Audrey & Jamie

About 5 minutes before heading out the door to go downtown, David and I ran around the house, found some stuff, and decided to be really bad (white) versions of Michael Jackson and his infamous Dr. Conrad Murray.  Then we had to explain the whole situation to the kids.  Oops...didn't think that through.

This isn't from tonight, but I felt like throwing it in there...because I like the sight of them reading to each other, especially since our time is about to be occupied by someone else very soon!

Pumpkin Time

Here are this year's creations.

Jamie's First Lost Tooth

Jamie lost her first tooth today at school, and has no idea where it went.
So, big brother to the rescue...Dawson helped her compose a note for the tooth fairy, just like he had to when he couldn't find his.

Annual Three Cedars Visit

It was such a beautiful Indian Summer weekend, that we had no excuse, but to go do our annual Three Cedars Farm visit, and pick out some pumpkins.

Most likely the last picture with just four of us.
Oh boy.

Just An Ordinary Day...

Just an ordinary day...of treats after dinner, with Audrey & Carly.
