David's Turn

David finally got a turn too.

All 3 of Us

Hooray for being able to hold Jamie!

Wide Awake

Jamie was wide awake for us tonight when we visited. It's the first time we've seen her eyes open, since she had previously been very sedated.

Jamisen Leigh is here!

Jamisen Leigh VanderLugt arrived on Sept. 14 at 5:31 pm. She weighed 7lbs 2oz.
She is beautiful!
Unfortunately she will not be coming home with us anytime soon, as she has been transferred to the NICU at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor. Please keep us in your prayers as the doctors work on treating her condition.

Jamisen Leigh

Here is Jamisen just minutes after birth, she's not very happy about the bright lights or about being naked!

Jamisen and Mom

Isn't she sweet?

Sleeping

This one was taken on Wednesday, just before Jamie was transported to the NICU at St. Joseph Mercy in Ann Arbor.

Huge Pig

Some of the comments were requesting more pictures of animals from our trip to the zoo....well, here is a big pig that we saw, and it was smelly too. All of the other animals were your standard, run of the mill zoo animals, so we didn't capture any memories of them....but this pig was huge! It kind of resembles me right now in this last month of being prego. Except, picture it, with matching top and shoes..then you've got it.

More Animals

Ok. Ok. Here are some more animals, and they are more lively than the pig. (They aren't even pictures from the toledo zoo...they are from the Detroit zoo a couple months ago, but like I said, we didn't take animal pictures this most recent trip, just Dawson pictures.) Check out the wolverine and prairie dogs. I know these pictures are begging for comments. Keep it clean please.

...and a couple more

...and if you prefer more exotic animals...a Rhino and a monkey with its baby. Yes...Finally, a monkey picture.
