Disney World Trip

Our most recent adventure was a trip to Orlando with Grandpa + Grandma O. and my brother Joel's family.
We covered a lot of ground at Walt Disney World and had one warm and sunny day to hang out at our condo's pool.
Florida wasn't super warm for much of the week (as you will notice from all the layers we wore), but it was sunny and much warmer than the polar vortex back home!

Here are as many photos as I could handle uploading from the big camera and my phone
(they are not really in order, but you will get the idea)...

The Mad Tea Party was by far the favorite ride of the week.  The kids went on it many, many times.
(Other favorites included Dumbo, It's a Small World and The Barnstormer roller coaster.)
Dawson and Jamie were really helpful with the little kids.

Meeting Belle (the girls met many of the princesses...Lydia was secretly really excited to meet all of them.)
Joel and Dawson were cast in a Beauty and the Beast play.  Joel was a great knight and Dawson was the Beast.

Shopping and Eating in Downtown Disney

One day was spent at Disney's Hollywood Studios:

Early in the week we had one good day warm enough for swimming back at the condo:

Polar Vortex 2014 // Snowmaggedon

This week was the end of the Polar Vortex of 2014.
The kids were stuck inside most of the early part of the week, so over the weekend we went downtown Detroit to get the wiggles out.

Rainy Halloween

We had a very rainy Halloween this year.  It didn't stop these trick-or-treaters though!
We took umbrellas and went out on the town for a couple hours.
Dylan was really into it! She went up to every house by herself and loaded up her bucket.

Aaron turns One

Joel and Shontel's youngest, Aaron, turned one this fall.
We headed over to their house to celebrate...
