Day with Grandpa & Grandma O

Grandpa & Grandma O came to town for a day out - it was a little bit chillier than it has been lately, but we had a good time at the Detroit Zoo during the day, then Dawson's baseball game in the evening.

Dawson took a ton of pictures with his camera. He loves taking pictures. Maybe he should start his own blog.

Welcome to the world Lydia Claire!

My little brother Joel is now a dad! Can you believe it?
Joel and Emily welcomed their baby daughter, Lydia Claire, into the world on May 24. Dawson and Jamie are so excited to have another cousin!

Preschool Graduation

Dawson graduated from preschool this week. Here are his proud (and super great) teachers - giving him his book of memories from the school year.

T-Ball

T-ball has started and Dawson is with the 'big boys' this year...doing coach pitch ball (they get to decide if they want to be pitched to or use the tee.) He is doing pretty well with pitches so far!

Some lumberjack men have removed our ginormous pine tree in our front lot.

Butt Strap

One lumberjack explained the"butt strap" method. Its mostly a rope for lowering down the top part of the tree.

Farm Field Trip

Both Dawson & Jamie's classes went on a field trip to a farm today - I joined for the muddy, cold mess of it all. We had a good time.
