The first week in August means that it is time for the annual Lake Mitchell vacation with Janet's whole family. It was a little colder than usual, but we still had fun and got some sun and water time in. Here are some highlights....

You will see a theme for Dawson during the week....he did not leave the dock or a boat the entire week other than to eat and sleep. All he wanted to do was catch fish. He caught a lot with a net off the dock or the paddleboat.
Luckily, Uncle chuck also took the boys out fishing so they could go look for some big fish.

All the cousins (aka...the only people that Jamie would talk to all week, other than mommy and daddy. She is in an anti-adult stage right now, just an fyi for you readers. Don't let it hurt your feelings. She only will converse with kids at this point.)
Every year David does one lap around the bay, to prove he can still ski - I think.
He CAN still ski.
Still fishing. (I don't even think Dawson put on a bathing suit during the week. He really just stayed on the dock in that position most of the time.)
