Weekend in Detroit

We spent one weekend this summer showing family around Downtown Detroit.  

We did a Detroit Princess Riverboat cruise, The DIA, The Michigan Science Center, Eastern Market, Heidelberg Project, Slows BBQ, and a Tigers Game.

Red Wings

We decided that since Jamie had

not been to a Wings game yet,

it was about time she had the chance to go.

So, we went to the Wings vs. Oilers game last night.

The kids got cool lunchboxes as the give-a-way. 
Actually a good promo for once!

Jamie really has a love of cotton candy. 
I wonder where she gets the sugar love from?



And Dawson loves the Wings.



First Tigers game of the season for the kids

First game of the season for the kids, and it was a loss. Oh well. Good thing there are about 148 more games.

We ran into David's cousin, Ben, at the game. Small world.
